Privacy Policy & Legal Notice for Portraro

Effective Date: October 2026

2. Core Privacy Principle: 100% Offline & Zero Tracking

Protecting your privacy is a foundational design principle of Portraro (iOS, Android & Web App). Portraro is engineered around strict data minimization and an offline-first architecture. Whether you are shooting a wedding ceremony in a church, a corporate keynote, or a studio portrait session, Portraro never records or transmits your usage behavior.

3. Local On-Device Storage (LocalStorage)

To remember your selected camera body, lens, GroupLab parameters, display mode (Studio Dark, Sunlight, Church Stealth), and personal EventKeys custom button assignments between sessions, Portraro stores these preferences exclusively locally on your own device (via system localStorage). This data never leaves your device and cannot be accessed by us.

4. In-App Purchases (Portraro Pro on Apple App Store & Google Play)

When optionally unlocking Portraro Pro (Product ID app.portraro.prof / app.portraro.pro, one-time purchase with no subscription), payment processing is handled exclusively and directly by the respective platform provider:

We never receive or store your credit card, billing, or banking information. The app verifies entitlement status locally via the official platform APIs (Apple StoreKit 2 / Google Play Billing).

5. Website Hosting & Server Log Files

When visiting our website https://portraro.app in a web browser, our German hosting provider (IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany) automatically processes standard technical server log data (anonymized/truncated IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status code, and User-Agent) pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR solely to ensure secure, reliable delivery and defense against automated attacks. No cookies or tracking identifiers are set.

6. Your Rights under GDPR

Because the Portraro app does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, we hold no personal user profiles. If you contact us voluntarily via email, your message is used solely to respond to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR) and deleted thereafter. Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).
