# Portraro (https://portraro.app)

> Portraro is the 100% offline camera setup guide and live on-set calculator suite for wedding, portrait, and event photographers (sister application to Faunaro, https://faunaro.app).

## Core Tools & Capabilities
- **GroupLab (Group Photo Row & Aperture Calculator):** Calculates optimal row staging (1 to 5 rows: seated, standing, elevated), minimum working distance, focus target row (Row 2 rule), and the exact minimum safe aperture (`f/Stop`) based on guest count (6–140 people), available space behind the photographer, focal length, and sensor size (Full Frame, APS-C, MFT). Includes wide-angle edge distortion warnings (`< 35mm`).
- **FlickerGuard (Anti-Flicker & Banding Safe-Shutter Guide):** Prevents dark horizontal LED banding stripes in churches, wedding venues, and in front of stage LED walls or projectors. Analyzes camera sensor readout speed (Standard Rolling CMOS vs. Stacked Sensor vs. Global Shutter), 50 Hz (Europe) vs. 60 Hz (US/Asia) power grids, and electronic vs. mechanical shutter modes to output safe shutter speeds (`1/50 s`, `1/100 s`, `1/125 s`) and exact camera menu paths.
- **EventKeys:** Offline custom button cheat-sheet for wedding & event photography (Left/Right Eye toggle, Silent Shutter toggle, Registered Face Priority, Confetti AF Lock).
- **Hardware Coverage:** 88 mirrorless cameras and 230+ portrait, standard zoom, wide-angle, and telephoto lenses across Sony Alpha, Canon EOS R, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X, OM System, Panasonic Lumix, Leica, Sigma, and Tamron.
- **Pricing & Privacy:** Free base app, one-time Pro unlock (1.99 EUR / $1.99 USD), no subscription, zero tracking, 100% offline.
